Welcome to the home of North Queensland X-Ray Services – providers of medical imaging to the residents of Far North Queensland, Australia.

At NQXS we understand that our procedures are unfamiliar and sometimes quite intimidating. That's why we want you to get involved in managing your health.

In the pages that follow, you will therefore find loads of information about our imaging procedures. What to expect, what to bring (such as your Medicare card for bulk billing) and how to prepare for your appointment.

We encourage you to read and print the sections on your procedure(s) of interest, then discuss any questions you may have with our staff or with your doctor.

At North Queensland X-Ray Services we are a community-based operation. With clinics in Cairns and Townsville, our staff live and work in the areas that we service and you know what? They don't want to leave.

And we don't either. We are proud to be part of a region that has grown – and that continues to grow – in its professionalism and medical imaging expertise.
